Learn & Earn Project

The Learn & Earn Project is funded by the European Social Fund through WCVA’s Active Inclusion Fund.

The Project provides skills for employment and into-work support for young people aged 18-24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Project Purpose
To provide high quality support, training and guidance to 139 young people aged 18-24 and equip them with the appropriate learning, skills, knowledge and confidence to participate in the workforce.

Support Available
1. Needs assessment
One-to-one interviews assessing needs, previous training, skills, experience & qualifications

2. Individual action plan
Identifying training, job search & progression route requirements

3. Volunteering

4. Employment skills training
Job search, CV writing / job applications, interview & presentation skills

5. Vocational training
Training in the field of work you want to pursue, such as catering to gain recognised qualifications and skills that enhance your employability (according to need, level of experience and skill)

6. Securing employment –
One-to-one assistance with job search, completing job applications or CVs and with interview practice
