Carers support

Amser programme

Race Equality First, through the Carers Trust Wales Amser programme, is supporting unpaid carers living in Wales to access personalised, flexible and creative short breaks, to help improve carer resilience and wellbeing and to support the sustainability of the carer’s caring relationship.

The fund can support breaks such as a day out; trips to the cinema or theatre; vouchers for an activity or something else you would like to plan.

Get in touch to discuss how we can best support you with your plans for a short break. You can find out more by calling Laura O’Keeffe at Race Equality First on 029 2048 6207 or emailing laura.o@raceequalityfirst.org.uk

Funded by Welsh Government, Amser, is part of the Short Breaks Scheme for unpaid carers and aims to enable 30,000 carers to take a break from caring by 2025.
