What we're offering
As part of our commitment to assist with the implementation of the Welsh Government’s Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan 2030, we are pleased to offer a unique opportunity for both primary and secondary schools. We are providing free Anti-Racism school workshops, followed by an engaging Anti-Racism Art Workshop.
With over 25 years of experience, our workshops aim to help students understand race, racism, and their rights under UK law. Through interactive discussions students learn how to become anti-racist and report racism. Our workshops conclude with a poster competition, offering exciting prizes and the chance to attend our awards ceremony hosted by BBC Sport presenter Jason Mohammad. Duration
45-60 minutes
Aims for Y3 -Y6 workshop
Understand what race and racism is; discuss examples of racial bullying; understand how to become anti-racist and how to report racism if a victim or witness
Aims for Y7-Y8 workshop
Understand their rights under UK law, understand what constitutes hate crime, discrimination, victimisation, harassment, discuss the impact of hate on people's lives, understand how to become anti-racist and report racism if a victim or witness.

Listening attentively to presentations, Speaking to engage in discussions about personal experiences, Actively listening to others sharing their experiences, Creativity: students are encouraged to use a variety to vividly illustrate their stories or views.
