What we offer

Our Hate Crime Awareness Outreach session is tailored to help communities recognise and respond to hate incidents and crimes. Participants will learn about the protected characteristics, the importance of reporting hate crimes, and the available support for victims and witnesses. The session includes discussions on real-life scenarios, encouraging active participation and engagement. By fostering an understanding of how to be an active bystander, this workshop empowers community members to challenge hate incidents and crimes effectively. Join us to enhance community cohesion and promote a safer, more inclusive environment.

  • Learn how, where, and to whom you can report a Hate Crime
  • Learn where you can get support if you are a victim, or a witness
  • How to be an active bystander and challenge Hate Incidents and Hate Crimes
  • Discuss and consider real life scenarios and what to do if you witness a Hate Crime

These sessions are designed to encourage participants to express any concerns they may have reporting Hate Incidents and Hate Crimes, personal experiences they would be happy to share, and thoughts around how to increase understanding and reporting in communities. You will have time to ask questions throughout the session and we ask all participants to actively engage with the activities.
